AbuseIPDB bulk ip check to find out the evil
We security professionals often need to check malicious ip addresses into any threat intel. Manually checking one by one will take lots of time and time is very crucial at the time of investigation. Thanks to the following tool and abuseipdb to make our task faster.
Click Releases to download the .exe version of the tool.
After downloading the tool, open it by double clicking it.
It requires an API key which you can easily get by creating a free account from abuseipdb’s website.
Create your account first. After that create the key. Once done then copy it.
Paste the key onto the tool.
Create a .csv file that contains your malicious ip addresses list. While save it, I choose CSV UTF-8
Create another .csv file where your results will be saved.
Now click on ENGAGE.
Once the scan is done, you will see something similar like the above image. Clicking on RUN AWAY will close the tool.
This is the results. Now you can easily decide which ip you should block into your firewall, IPS or Security tool.
